Michael N. Moses is a Nigerian-born author, Town Planner, business professional, and multidisciplinary writer whose work explores faith, human experience, society, personal struggles, spirituality, and the search for truth and meaning.

Born on 13 January 1983 in Ogbogu, Rivers State, Nigeria, Michael N. Moses developed an enduring interest in people, communities, culture, spirituality, and the experiences that shape human lives. These interests have become central to his literary work, which combines personal reflection with social, cultural, and spiritual themes.

Moses holds a BSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the former Rivers State University of Science and Technology, now Rivers State University, and has been a member of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners since 2012. He later broadened his academic and professional development into business and management, completing a Foundation Degree in Business Data Management at Belfast Metropolitan College and subsequently earning an MSc in Management from Ulster University, Northern Ireland.

Professionally, Moses has developed multidisciplinary experience spanning urban and regional planning, business operations, data management, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure development. His professional background has provided him with broad exposure to the practical realities of communities, organisations, institutions, and individuals—experiences that continue to inform his writing.

Michael N. Moses began his literary publishing journey in 2007 with his first book, The Last Days, published in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, by Printing Development Company, Nigeria. The book marked the beginning of his continuing engagement with literature and established his interest in using writing to explore significant questions about life, society, spirituality, and the human condition.

He subsequently authored The Sermon: Unlocking the Hidden Truth and Poetic Gestures: A Rhythm Within My Soul, both published by Bablo Publishers, Abeokuta, Nigeria. These works demonstrate the breadth of his literary interests, moving between spiritual reflection, the exploration of truth, and poetic expression.

His nonfiction work Coping with Loneliness and Depression was published in the United Kingdom by Pegasus Elliot Mackenzie Publishers Ltd in 2025. The book examines loneliness, emotional struggles, personal choices, faith, relationships, and the challenges individuals encounter in navigating difficult periods of life. Through reflection and practical insight, Moses seeks to encourage readers to confront adversity and discover pathways towards resilience and hope.

Moses' literary voice is shaped by his Nigerian heritage, his knowledge of African cultural traditions, his Christian faith, and his experiences of living and working in the United Kingdom. His writing frequently examines the relationship between the individual and society, the visible and spiritual dimensions of life, and the choices that define human character.

Rather than limiting himself to a single literary genre, Moses writes across nonfiction, spiritual and reflective literature, poetry, and fiction. His works are united by a recurring concern with the deeper questions of human existence: truth, faith, suffering, identity, morality, freedom, responsibility, redemption, and hope.

His writing seeks not merely to entertain but to provoke thought and invite readers into deeper reflection. Through his books, Moses continues to explore the realities of human life while drawing attention to the possibility of transformation, resilience, and purposeful living.

Michael N. Moses currently lives in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, where he combines his professional and academic interests with his continuing work as an author and writer.
